Vaccinated Members may use fitness equipment (cardio, strength machines, free weights, and group exercise classes) without a mask while exercising if they wish to do so. Vaccinated Members will also be allowed to remove their masks when seated in the lounge area and when in the locker rooms. Vaccinated Members may also choose to continue to wear masks at all times if they prefer. Those wearing masks (including Club employees) should therefore not be assumed to be unvaccinated by other Members. Proof of vaccination is required to go maskless in the Club. All unvaccinated Members are required to wear masks while inside the Club.
To comply with reduced capacity guidelines, all Club visits must be reserved prior to your arrival. Reservations can be made 48 hours in advance via the Mercedes Club app, the Mercedes Club website, or by calling the Hospitality Desk directly at 212 265 1111. All reservations begin at the top of the hour. Please note the following time limits per session:
Cardio and Strength: 55 minutes
Indoor Pool: 30 minutes
Lounge: Two sessions per day (6:00am to 1:15pm and 2:00pm to 8:45pm)
A $10 fee will be applied to all Members that no-show for their scheduled session without canceling within 2 hours of their reservation.
All Members will be required to complete a health screening questionnaire through the reservation system portal prior to each visit to the Club. The Club may not be used by any Members that have tested positive for COVID, were in close contact with someone that has tested positive, have been notified by any government agencies that they have been in close contact, or are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 that cannot be explained by other conditions or factors. Also, we ask that you do not enter the Club for 14 days if you have recently returned from outside the tri-state area.
Please arrive close to your reservation time with your face covering on. Face coverings MUST cover your nose and mouth, be of medical grade fabric, and MUST be worn at all times while in the Club. Bandanas are not permitted to be worn as face coverings. Temperature checks will be taken upon check-in and wristbands that coincide with specific areas of the Club will be given to all Members.
Lockers, restrooms, and showers are available. Saunas and steam rooms remain closed as per government guidelines.
Social distance markers have been placed throughout the Club. Please be respectful and keep a safe distance from each other.
Staffing and cleaning protocols have been enhanced. All surfaces and equipment are thoroughly cleaned with EPA registered disinfectant cleaning agents. You will notice our dedicated Clean Team and Fitness Coaches cleaning continuously throughout the day as well as in-between reservation timeslots. Additional deep cleaning is performed nightly when the Club is closed. Numerous wipe and hand sanitizer stations are placed throughout the entire Club for our Members' convenience. We ask that all Members wipe down equipment and surfaces after use.
Our central HVAC system meets the standard requirements, including MERV - 13 filtration filters. All doors on our workout floor will remain open, for additional air circulation, when the weather permits.
