Ori Flomin is a New York based Choreographer, Dance and Yoga teacher and Shiatsu practitioner. Originally from Israel he moved to New York City to pursue a career as a professional dancer and since then has toured internationally as a performer and teacher for the past twenty years.
He discovered yoga in order to improve his flexibility and realized that there was so much more to it and Yoga is a way of living.Yoga has changed his life and shifted his understanding of body/mind connection to a higher awareness.
He completed his Yoga teacher training in 2002 with a certification from Bhave yoga in NYC and since then he continues to explore, study and teach the intelligence of our being. He is currently an adjunct professor at Tisch NYU school of the arts and as a guest teacher he has traveled to teach Dance and Yoga around the world in Thailand, Denmark, United Kingdom, Austria, Greece, Israel, Australia, India, Sweden and Germany among other countries.
His Vinyasa Yoga classes present Yoga as an art, a science and a practice, combining vigor and grace and always challenging practitioners to push themselves beyond their limits and deepen their knowledge of their own bodies and spirit.
