Declan is a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer, Indoor Cycling and Group Fitness Instructor with over eight years experience (in the fitness industry). It is through this passion for fitness and healthy lifestyle practices that led him to help others achieve similar goals.
Declan's classes are tough and creative, but fun, where all fitness levels welcomed and challenged.
"I strive to keep the workouts similar to when we were kids on the playground running around, jumping, climbing and having a blast, and where engaging in physical activity didn't feel like a chore."
Originally from the island nation of Trinidad and Tobago, he often brings that island vibe into his workouts. Declan is also an avid obstacle racer and has participated in several obstacle races (mostly Spartans) since 2012. He enjoys being near the water and you can often find him on the beach when he's not coaching during the summer months in his current residence of Rockaway, Queens.
